Gisenyi Project Rwanda

Overview:
Blue Light International was contracted to deliver a complete acoustic treatment and interior redesign for Hope FM’s live and recording studios. The goal was to eliminate echo, external noise intrusion, and internal sound distortion during broadcasts.

We installed custom acoustic wall panels, bass traps, ceiling clouds, and door seals tailored for voice-focused recording environments. The design also incorporated noise-isolating glass partitions and a balanced mix of absorption and diffusion materials to retain vocal warmth while minimizing reverb.

Impact:

• Enhanced audio clarity in on-air rooms

• Controlled ambient noise levels below industry thresholds

• Improved working comfort for producers and presenters

• Achieved seamless audio capture with zero feedback during live shows

Technical Specs:

• Acoustic Paneling: Polyester fiber + wood veneer finish

• STC (Sound Transmission Class): Achieved STC rating of 52+ in all treated rooms

• Frequency range addressed: 125 Hz – 4,000 Hz

• Isolation Enhancements: Floating floors, soundproof doors, high-density insulation

This renovation project completely revitalized an outdated interior space, blending modern design elements with tailored acoustic treatment.
